commendation day 05 was a big yawn today.. i sat there looking at other people getting prizes for top this top that and i sat there feeling like sucha loser. it hurts when you put in ur best effort and only get a trickle of what you originally expected. but i admit the programme was well put up but i juz couldn't stand sitting there watching all these straight A prize-winners while ur own results are utterly pathetic.
well the next stunner was when francine told me something after commendation day.
i'll say it came as a complete shock lah. it affected me so much that i thought abt it all day long.. at the bus stop a guy on his bike nearly ran me down cos i was too distracting thinking of that as he honked his bicycle bell away. i seriously dunno whether it's true at all =\ on e one hand it seems like so.. it's like not favourable at all. i dun get any response or positive sign frm that person. sigh. and the cupcake experiment didn't turn out as well as i wanted it to. sigh.
sighing's bad.

this has got to stop. like now.

i hardly check for accuracy in my ans. hmm perhaps because i have faith in my ans?
i marked my ec mcq today and damnit man. just a measely 19/30. people tell me 'at least got pass wad'. maybe it's the mentality in this school.. that passing is all that matters. NO it's not. where's the quality grades? i see the midyr, post promo results analysis and sr seems to have only a satisfactory obsession with passing. aiyo. prelim results look disastrous. MANY people in the D, E, AO range. and there's even people getting triple Fs. omg. omg. omg. and to think that when i entered arts this yr i had the ambition to be one of e top scorers. HAHA looking at my performance in the midyr i think that is not realistically possible =) but then again, i felt i've improved from midyrs. at least that's how i feel. it's worrying that when the tutors go thru the ans during the past few days there's this uneasiness in me that makes me think; ok i think i wrote the correct thing. but the ans looks completely diff!

i was looking at that contoversial maths qn on the triangles and squares and wah lao. SO EASY!! damnit. if i took psle now i'll be like top scorer already. damn easy la the bloody question. it's theoretically possible but only that the dimensions are flawed. but bloody hell, just do the bloody qn and stfu can. one stupid little qn can make a whole country crying in pails and buckets =x
