i read through my mid yr lit C&A script and urrh.. it's shameful. really. it borders on the limits of intellectual aloofness. it's a sad 1 and a half pages and i'm actually quite amazed mark tan gave me 20/50 for it.
urh jess said i'll have bad luck with kids =\ and i was telling keith in sch today how cool is it to have a sibling who's juz 1yr older. hahaha and i was referring to you!

i must say though that the 18th SC is MUCH better than the 17th. the 17th was.. was.. crap.
let's be optimistic and hope for a change perhaps (: isa's a gratifying breath of fresh air to the once fledging and crumbling sc over the yrs.

3 years later.. the carol saga/experiment was a total disaster and flop. but i am a person who never seems to learn from the past.. the same thing appears to be happening now and yet i'm still so forward-looking and optimistic as i was exactly 1 year ago. whenever i think of her there always appaears to be a parallel to the carol saga. this feeling sucks.
me and her were walking out of school today, but she was about 5 steps infront of me and was with a guy. not that i'm bothered about that but well the guy left for another bus stop while me and her were walking towards the same bus stop. she turned round noticing me and well urh. she didn't slow down or stop. she was like racing towards the bus stop! even at the brief interval at the traffic light (which i honestly hoped was left red for hours and years longer), she looked to me, smiled and waved. i wanted to walk up to her but this friggin kid and his mum were blocking her totally =\ the green man appeared and she immediately dashed up the 1st bus to kovan.
mr j0nathan b0k what a flying failure. you sickening ass should've ran after the same bus and took the train home with her (even though it'll take like almost 1hr) instead of taking that stupid bus which only takes 20mins. ARGH. stupid arsehole. throughout the journey home i wasn't thinking abt the promos. i wasn't even thinking about anything related to sch. i was thinking of how horribly wretched and stupid i am. what a disappointing pile of crap. it isn't everyday that you get to go home with her and yet when the oppt comes this loser here FLOPS the whole thing and lets it fall to pieces. and oh. an unfortunate conincidence to a title of a song.

Time passes so damn fast. It was like only a few months ago when i was still with my old class and tomorrow would already be their first prelim exam. very, very menacing.
Very soon my turn will come. it's wise to be prepared. solemn silence.

reading the papers over lunch a few mins ago, out popped an article on what Lee Kuan Yew said about the link between demographics and geopolitics. then it came to one section where world experts were deliberating on the possible dates/causes of the end of the world. Suddenly i remembered something that happened more than half a decade ago, in primary 6. I remember minghao (a pri sch classmate whom i have never seen/heard from since like.. urh. feb 2000) and me sitting in oeps canteen on 9 sept 1999. (09/09/99). Then minghao told me, 'jonathan, you know the world's gonna end today?' i was like stunned. world's ending today? what'll happen to my goliath pen collection (which has invaded 1 drawer and 3/4 of my desk already), my archie comic book collection (actually it's my bro's. hahaha.) and how the hell can the world end? it's so freakin big. then he went on to say stuff like what the pastor said in his church that the world would end on 9 sept 99 and for them to be prepared. hmmm. urh it's 6sept 2005 now.. but seriously on an environmental note, how long more can the earth sustain our wasteful ways? sickening americans drive at least 2 CARS PER FAMILY (freakin hell it's not like as if you have a football team as a family) and even in a bloody small town everyone drives just to get around. motorcycles are barely seen in america. i just hope one day EVERY SINGLE DROP OF OIL IN USA gets depleted and the rest of the world shuns them. seriously the war in iraq wasn't for WMDs. it wasn't for saddam. it wasn't to liberate the iraqis. it was for OIL. period. North Korea poses a much greater threat than iraq imo. N. Korea already has WMDs! everyone's seen it. BUT NO OIL. so, no war. aarrgh USA is just sick. Anyway, it'll be nice if we had a primary school gathering this year or maybe the next. and fyi, skinny light-skinned minghao joined ncc in sec school. hahaha. i remember him telling me how that cca's been creating 'brown sunburn spots' all over him. like at the collar and on his hands. heheheh. it'll prolly look like he got a neck and hand transplant.

A tree stands in my neighbour's garden that faces my house and whenever I use the com, I can see it from the window. Tall and skinny, it's more than 2 stories tall and the trunk is only as thick as my arm, and it might be a bamboo but that's just a guess because I'm hopeless plants. Because it's so frail, whenever the wind blows it sways, like a ponderously slow windwiper sliding across my window, oscillating from side to side. I suppose the wind blows more from the back than the front, because when there's no wind, it always leans forward and it looks like one day it'll just keel over. I look at the tree and it's... stem, it's too thin for it to really be a trunk, and I'm always expecting a CRACK! sound, and see the tree tumbling forward. One day.
